Hobby Night in Canada

Don't ask what happened to episodes 77 and 78. They'll show up eventually. This week we have a hobby mailbag type thing that needs a clever name before we bring it back, we drool over the new Primaris Space Marines for 40k, and we also have a chat about this #workbenchwednesday thing the cool kids are all doing.

The guys just won't stop talking about Dropfleet Commander (I think they like it or something), and we also start pondering what the future has in store for 8th edition Warhammer 40k. Exciting times are ahead!

Better late than never? This episode we talk about the Dropfleet league at Mission, Spring Cleaning, and the end of the PP Press Gang.

We continue our march towards becoming a BattleTech podcast, and begrudgingly also talk about the AMPSA beaver bust and Coolminiornot's Dark Age.

Fresh off a plane is Steve to bring back a report on the LVO down in the States. We also talk about pinning miniatures, and the LVO-inspired topic of how to strategize for shopping at a convention without breaking the bank.

As Ward and Steve finish up LVO prep, we sit down to discuss green stuff and textured basing pads, as well as the next instalment of the Gathering Storm series from Games Workshop! Eldar get a new god, and more vowels!

I don't know if it was deliberate, but we've got the GW hat trick nailed down this week, as we discuss the WarhammerTV Twitch channel, the Triumvirate of the Imperium release for 40k, and whatever the hell Forgeworld is doing with the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings licence!

2016 is finally in the rear-view mirror, and we look ahead to 2017 with hobby resolutions, hits and misses of 2016, and since Ward has a gift certificate to spend, a lively debate about Iwata airbrushes!

In our final episode before the holidays, Dan gives a recap of his trip to Mech Con in Vancouver, and we also discuss the Dystopian Wars Kickstarter and making your own custom tokens for your games.
